ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities has an excellent and immediate opening for Outside Operations Foreman at NRG Park in Houston, Texas.  NRG Park is in the fast lane for opportunity and excitement.  We are a one-of-a-kind premier facility with four major venues within one giant park.  NRG Center (one million+ sq. ft. Convention Center), NRG Stadium (home of the Houston Texans and The Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo), NRG Astrodome (“The” Astrodome), and NRG Arena.    Under direct supervision of the Parking Coordinator, Parking Manager, and the Director of Parking, the Outside Operations Foreman is responsible for thorough supervision, and coordination of direct personnel, subcontractors, and vendors.  Acts as liaison between the facility and clients, ensuring all clients’ requirements are met and facility rules and policies are adhered to.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Include the following:

  • Maintains labor on all events and ensures labor is within the projected guideline.
  • Responsible for informing and communicating event information to subordinate staff.
  • Responsible for supervising set up/tear down of all events. Includes sign making, sign distribution, cone/delineator placement and barrier installations.
  • Serves as Lead in parking lots when needed.
  • Responsible for preparation, set up, organization and placement of all vehicle directional signs and pedestrian signs.
  • Ensures all equipment is compliant with NRG Park standards.
  • Responsible for storing all lot set-up equipment.
  • Assist in programming, set-up, transport, and maintenance of DMS signs when needed.
  • Responsible for programming and maintenance of all Digital Message Signs.
  • Responsible for maintaining all equipment. Includes operating and maintaining cones, delineators, golf carts, forklifts, boom lifts, etc.
  • Maintain inventory and accountability of tools, equipment, and materials pertaining to the Parking Operations Department.
  • Attend all meetings as required.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.

  • Two (2) years related experience and/or training in the public assembly industry in a supervisory position; or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.

 

Skills and Abilities

  • Work effectively under pressure and/or stringent schedule and produce accurate results.
  • Remain flexible and adjust to situations as they occur.
  • Ability to work long and irregular hours that may vary due to functions and may include day, evening, weekends, and holidays.

 

Computer Skills  

  • Operate a personal computer using Windows, Word, Excel, E-mail, Internet, and other Parking Systems software.
  • Be proficient in sign/graphic programs.

 

Other Qualifications 

  • Be licensed to operate a motor vehicle in the United States.
  • Operate heavy duty machinery such as forklifts, scissor lifts and boom lifts.

Convention Center), NRG Stadium (home of the Houston Texans and The Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo), NRG Astrodome (“The” Astrodome), and NRG Arena.    We are seeking a unique Scheduling Clerk to join our team.   The Scheduling Clerk will answer the Parking Scheduling phone line, interact with staff, and assign work assignments based on event projections.  Acts as liaison between the facility and clients, ensuring all clients’ requirements are met and facility rules, regulations and policies are adhered to.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Include the following:

  • Schedule hourly staff on behalf of the Parking, Safety & Security department.
  • Review staffing projections and event overview documents to ensure consistency.
  • Track attendance and overtime, arrange staff replacements as needed. Provide reports as requested to Department Managers and Director.
  • Assist in the scheduling and coordination of training programs.
  • Assist in the scheduling of the NPO (Non-Profit Organization) program as needed.
  • Assist employees with confirming and producing schedules utilizing ABI.
  • Communicate with Coordinators and Department Managers any scheduling discrepancies.
  • Maintain a variety of private, confidential and/or sensitive files and records of information such as payroll, attendance, and expense records.
  • Must comply with all ASM Global policies and procedures including the Business Conduct Policy and Code of Ethics.
  • Attend meetings and training as required.
  • Organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.

Convention Center), NRG Stadium (home of the Houston Texans and The Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo), NRG Astrodome (“The” Astrodome), and NRG Arena.    We are seeking a unique and innovative individual to join our HR team.  Under indirect supervision, the HR Coordinator provides comprehensive support and coordination of the day-to-day operations of Human Resources ensuring the efficient delivery of HR services, recruitment processes, and the accuracy of employee data records. This position provides support and coordination in the consistent and effective application of policies, procedures, and practices of the Human Resources department.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Include the following:

  • Follows ASM Global policies to assure compliance with legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions. Maintains compliance with state and federal regulations concerning employment
  • Assists the Human Resource Manager with all aspects of HR procedures and policies within the specified guidelines.
  • Coordinates employee performance appraisal process.
  • Coordinates and conducts staff and management training events or programs and develops resources, as needed.
  • Coordinates the various employee incentive programs as adopted by ASM Global.
  • Coordinates onboarding from recruiting to new hire orientation. Writes and places advertisements. Coordinates hiring events, screens applications, arranges and conducts interviews
  • Coordinates pre-employment tests as required, including background checks.
  • Coordinates meetings, prepares reports, composes regular correspondence, processes confidential reports and documents, files electronic and/or hard copy, tracks deadlines, and takes minutes as needed.
  • Conducts new hire orientation and employee training programs.
  • Ensure that all paperwork is complete and accurate including W-4’s, I-9, application, direct deposit form and insurance forms. Preparing source documentation needed for new hires, or effective changes in pay, status, or benefits.
  • Responds to various queries from managers, team members, and other agencies exercising individual judgement.
  • Prepare information needed to create new employee profile in HRIS system.
  • Maintains confidential Human Resource Information System records and compiles reports from database.
  • Creates data and statistical reports and maintains statistical information.
  • Coordinates benefit administration including enrollment and changes.
  • Coordinates medical restrictions, release, and reasonable accommodation requests.
  • Responds to employee requests and provides "concierge" service.
  • Investigates accidents and prepares reports for insurance carrier
