Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Include the following:

  • Oversee all aspects of operations including event coordination and services, rigging, housekeeping, event staffing, set-ups and changeovers, crowd and risk management, fire and life safety and ADA compliance.
  • Manage subordinate supervisors who oversee employees in various functions.
  • Implement and train all employees on the operating procedures, preventive maintenance schedules, emergency plans, and safety/risk management policies that conform to NRG Park standards.
  • Assist in the preparation and negotiation of service agreements for event services, housekeeping services, maintenance, and other agreements as needed.
  • Inspect conversions, construction, and installation progress to ensure conformance to established specifications.
  • Authorize the requisition of equipment and supplies within budget guidelines.
  • Act as a liaison between tenants and facility contractors as needed.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.

  • Forklift experience preferred.

  • Retrieve department monthly activity reports from department Managers and submit report to Director of Maintenance and Engineering using the Asset Essentials Maintenance program.
  • Generate agendas for monthly department meetings.
  • Renew and maintain all Permits and reconcile all quarterly and annual permits.
  • Order and maintain staff uniforms and reconcile weekly invoices.
  • Maintain petty cash.
  • Assist the Operations & Technical Services Administrative Assistant as needed, including backup during scheduled time away as necessary.

Acts as liaison between the facility and clients, ensuring all clients’ requirements are met and facility rules, regulations and policies are adhered to.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Direct, supervise and schedule all aspects of Mechanical Engineering and Plumbing Maintenance, ensure proper operation of all systems including, but not limited to: Air Handling Units, VAV’s, FPT’s, Domestic Water Systems, Back Flow Preventers and other plumbing equipment.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of both short term and long-term capital improvement programs.
  • Assist in the preparation of the annual operating budget; recommend an annual capital budget for long-range repairs and improvements to the facility.  Recommend and/or authorize the requisition of equipment and supplies within budget guidelines.
  • Be knowledgeable of and implement operating and maintenance policies and procedures consistent with all applicable laws, codes, ordinances, policies, procedures, risk management, safety precautions, rules/regulations and emergency procedures.
  • Investigate, analyze and resolve operational problems and complaints.  Conduct periodic staff meetings to discuss procedures, problems and policy changes.
  • Assist in the preparation and negotiation of Service Agreements.  Review contracts for compliance with event and/or government specifications and suitability for occupancy.
  • Act as liaison with tenants, facility contractors and/or service providers as needed.

The Carpenter Helper, under general supervision of the Carpenter, will assist in performing work as needed to maintain and repair facility operating systems throughout the year. Duties include skilled and semi-skilled tasks, which often require heavy lifting and a high degree of physical exertion. Will also act as a liaison between the facility and clients, ensuring all clients’ requirements are met and facility rules, regulations and policies are adhered to.

Responsible for the daily oversight of Outside Operations, vault and event signs by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.  Also, acts as liaison between the facility and clients, ensuring all clients’ requirements are met and facility rules, regulations and policies are adhered to.

  • Oversee all aspects of traffic operations, including event coordination, parking lot set up/tear down, traffic control, filing permits for road closures, programming vehicle and pedestrian directional signage and permits for placement.
  • Assist management with Staffing, which will include Parkers, Lead Parkers, Parking Supervisors, Gate Attendants, Gate Supervisors and Coordinators.
  • Implement and train all employees on the outside operations procedures, preventive maintenance schedules, emergency plans, and safety/risk management policies that conform to NRG Park standards.
  • Manage the preparation and negotiation of service agreements for parking services, maintenance, and other service agreements as needed.

  • Manage labor projections for Gate Attendants, Parking staff and Outside Police to optimize proper traffic control and minimize labor expenses on all events within the projection guidelines.
  • Responsible for daily audits and surveillance of parking gates.
  • Responsible for maintaining all equipment.
  • Handles ordering and maintaining all additional equipment needed for events.
  • Maintains correspondence with all clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Works directly with all Event Managers to ensure all requests are handled effectively.
  • Attend all meetings as required.
  • Stay current with new technology and methods to improve Parking Operations.
