NRG Park is in the fast lane for opportunity and excitement.  We are a one of a kind premier facility with four major venues within one giant park.  NRG Center (one million+ sq. ft. Convention Center), NRG Stadium (home of the Houston Texans and The Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo), NRG Astrodome (“The” Astrodome), and NRG Arena.    We are seeking a unique Command Center Operator to join our Security team. The Command Center Operator, under general supervision, is responsible for the surveillance of all security and television monitors on the facility and surrounding grounds; monitoring all access control systems and the dispatching of response personnel. Acts as liaison between the facility and clients, ensuring all clients’ requirements are met and facility rules, regulations and policies are adhered to.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Monitor all surveillance and access control equipment contained by the facility.
  • Prioritize situations and investigate/dispatch on all safety and security-related incidents.
  • Follow-up all incidents with written reports and recommendations.
  • Answer emergency, non-emergency and administrative phone lines and provide an appropriate response as required by the nature of the call.
  • Respond to emergencies and handle call-outs
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all entities who maintain business offices on property.
  • Highly detail oriented.
  • Maintain records and compile reports for management on an as needed basis.
  • Complete daily duties such as audits, activity reports and key-controls
  • Work irregular schedule to insure proper supervision of all events and activities scheduled in the facility, as required.

We are seeking a unique Maintenance Carpenter Helper to join our Maintenance team. The Maintenance Carpenter Helper will be under general supervision of the Carpenter. Will assist the Carpenter in performing work as needed to maintain and repair facility operating systems throughout the year. Duties include skilled and semi-skilled tasks, which often require heavy lifting and a high degree of physical exertion. Will also act as a liaison between the facility and clients, ensuring all clients’ requirements are met and facility rules, regulations and policies are adhered to.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Proper methods of storing equipment, materials and supplies.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance to existing structures including but not limited to parking signs, podiums, crates and storage containers.
  • Build objects as required, cut wood as required.
  • Assist in managing and maintaining carpentry shop and adhering to all safety regulations.
  • Assist in managing carpentry inventory of tools and materials.
  • Follow the preventive maintenance program and standard operating procedures for all machinery and equipment.
  • Assist in recording and logging all work performed, complete work order slips and compile all required reports in a timely and complete manner.
  • Promote a safe working environment for all employees by following the life safety and emergency program as needed.
  • Operate power tools and other equipment, such as, light trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, access lifts, or other power driven equipment.
  • May occasionally have to enter areas where fumes, airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals are present.

  • Assist in developing a list of necessary repairs and improvements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate Joint Marketing Agreement Sponsorship opportunities with tenants.
  • Manage sponsorship fulfillment to include facility signage and ticket allocations.

  • Work with the Interactive Marketing & Design Coordinator to develop social media strategies to be approved by the Director of Marketing & Public Relations.
  • Prepare written communication as needed to include press releases and media alerts.

  • Responsible for traffic control of all events.
  • Maintains labor on all events and ensures labor is within the projected guideline.

  • Troubleshoot all electrical malfunctions.
  • Assist repairing all inoperable electrical equipment and circuits.
