Convention Center), NRG Stadium (home of the Houston Texans and The Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo), NRG Astrodome (“The” Astrodome), and NRG Arena.    We are seeking a unique Project Coordinator to join our team.   This position is responsible for a complex infrastructure including multiple business, event and building systems, programs, and projects. Also, acts as liaison, between project partners ensuring all project requirements are met and facility rules, regulations and policies are adhered to.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Include the following

  • Develop and implement facility programs and manage projects.
  • Work with others to ensure they optimize the implementation process and oversee training approaches and content to drive adoption, shorten implementation times and grow learning.
  • Manage and organize large amounts of data from multiple sources.
  • Work with project partners ensuring all project requirements are met and facility rules, regulations and policies are adhered to.
  • Create long and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines.
  • Delegating tasks on projects to team members best suited for completion.
  • Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options.
  • Serve as a point of contact for teams when multiple teams are assigned to the same project to team actions remain in synergy.
  • Communicate with management team to keep the project aligned with their goals.
  • Schedule projects around event business.
  • Perform quality control on projects throughout development to maintain the standards expected.
  • Adjust schedules and targets on the projects as needs or financing changes.
  • Interact with all vendors to ensure adequate services and support.
  • Works closely with subcontractors tasked with project duties.
  • Support management implementation of effective safety policies for subcontractor safety.
  • Assists in preparing annual operating and capital budgets for all related materials, equipment and supplies to ensure system reliability and full operation.
  • Managing all project costs associated and ensure budgets are met.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.

Acts as liaison between the facility and clients, ensuring all clients’ requirements are met and facility rules, regulations and policies are adhered to.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Include the following:

  • Working with the Marketing & PR Manager and NRG Park Interns, serve as the social media voice of NRG Park, making sure NRG Park stays current with industry and social media trends, and interacts with fans while promoting events through multiple platforms.
  • Tasks include but are not limited to content creation, graphic design, producing and executing social media campaigns, serve as customer service representative to followers.
  • Update social media before, during and after NRG Park events.
  • Working with the Marketing & PR Manager and the NRG Park interns, maintain the complex website, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Update static marquee board and electronic marquee.
  • Develop and design all graphic materials for the department including collateral materials, ads, postcards, newsletters, flyers, invitations, vouchers, electronic marquee artwork and other materials as needed using Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Photoshop.
  • Assist other departments with graphic needs.
  • Attend various meetings pertaining to Marketing & Public Relations department.
  • Attend various media events to help promote NRG Park events.
  • Working with the Marketing & PR Manager, create and implement social media and grassroots proposals for event marketing.
  • Working with the Marketing & PR Manager, recruit, interview, train and supervise Marketing and Public Relations Interns.
  • Update and deliver event calendars and online event listings.
  • Working with the Marketing & PR Manager, conceptualize and execute online promotions for events.
  • Create and disseminate e-blasts, text messages and mobile app push notifications to complex database and subscribers using various platforms including Ticketmaster Messenger/Mail Manager.
  • Working with the Marketing & PR Manager, manage Google Analytics account and track trends/traffic in Ticketmaster ONE.
  • Act as in-house photographer or coordinate with in-house photographer for NRG Park events.
  • Maintain files (i.e., press clips, photos, booking notices) and printed sales collateral.
  • Assist outside design agencies and other entities/clients with coordination of assets, quote printing projects and other supplies as needed.
  • Research markets as is relevant to NRG Park’s marketing and public relations efforts.
  • Working with the Marketing & PR Manager, create relevant reports that provide insight into buyer/bidder behavior and recommendations for improvement.
  • Manage all creative assets in an organized manner.
  • Working quickly and efficiently is a must.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate Joint Marketing Agreement Sponsorship opportunities with tenants.
  • Manage sponsorship fulfillment to include facility signage and ticket allocations.
  • Contact prospective sponsor groups and individuals to initiate the sales effort.
  • Follow-up on leads generated by outside sources.
  • Compile bid proposals, sponsorship sales and revenues projection reports, client satisfaction studies and other relevant sales issues.

Responsible to the Director of Safety and Security, this position provides a variety of administrative and operational support to the Security Department. Also, acts as liaison between the facility and clients, ensuring all client’s requirements are met and facility rules, regulations and policies are adhered to.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Include the following:

  • Draft letters, reports, and other technical writing in a timely, accurate manner. Compose routine correspondence not requiring a supervisor’s attention.
  • Assist in the drafting, proofreading, formatting, and processing of Safety & Security documents.
  • Receive and screen telephone calls and visitors; provide routine information regarding events, operations, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintain and order office supplies and materials for the for Safety and Security Department.
  • Research, prepare and submit daily cost reports. Assist in the drafting, proofreading, and processing of these reports and related documents.
  • Receive, route, and file incoming and outgoing correspondence and ensure timely replies and/or action.

  • Plan conferences and meetings, make travel reservations and keep calendar of appointments for designated personnel. Complete expense reports as necessary.
  • Prepare event settlement for Safety & Security department on full-time, part-time, event staff, equipment, and sub-contracted services
  • Complete clerical work such as scanning, (electronic) filing, organizing, and ensuring office spaces are prepared for daily activity.
  • Create agendas and visual aids for meetings as necessary.

  • Generate, process, and maintain purchase orders and reconcile invoices
